The AQUAVOLT wireless charger is made with a strong crosslink PE/EVA blended foam designed for marine use and offers superior UV and stain resistance. They feature genuine 3M Marine grade pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. This ensures a superior bond that will keep the charging pad in place, even in harsh marine environments. And when it is time to clean your boat, the built-in drain on these dash pads allows water to exit easily.

How does it work?

The AQUAVOLT charger is a Qi wireless charger designed to securely hold and fast charge your phone in most conditions while keeping it easily accessible. The AQUAVOLT charger is permanently mounted to your boat dash or other flat surface and hardwired into your 12v electrical system.

 

Is it easy to install?

The AQUAVOLT charger is easily mounted with peel and stick with 3M PSA adhesive. You only need to drill a single ½” diameter hole to pass the charging wire through to the underside of your dash or console. The included compact voltage converter (secure it under the dash/console with included zip ties) is easily connected to 12v power (+ positive and – negative leads) through a 2amp fuse or 2 amp circuit breaker.

 

Is it waterproof?

The AquaVolt charger is designed to be waterproof once installed. The decking material is waterproof and so once the charging pocket is installed (adhered fully to a flat fiberglass surface), the embedded wireless charger is protected from water intrusion. Note that the embedded charger is NOT protected from water intrusion from the hole where the charging wire passes up through to your console.

 

Can I move it?

The 3m PSA adhesive on the AQUAVOLT charger cannot be moved or shifted once it is “stuck down.” Be sure to carefully choose the mounting location and the location of the hole for the charging wire.
